Who you’ll be working with
Hi, I’m Noel. I run Make Automations, and I use Claude every single day: building automations, running projects, writing, researching and running the business.
Before AI, I spent 20+ years in engineering, from the Royal Navy to designing systems for defence and space programmes. That’s shaped how I teach: practical, no fluff, and focused on what actually works in the real world.
I won’t throw jargon at you or show you 50 features you’ll never use. We’ll focus on the handful of things that make the biggest difference for your business.

Do I need to already be using Claude?
Nope. If you haven't signed up yet, we'll get your account set up in the session. If you already use it, we'll build on what you've got.
Which Claude plan do I need?
Most small businesses are fine on Claude Pro. If you've got a few people who need it, the Team plan is usually worth it. We'll help you pick the right one before you pay for anything.
Is Claude better than ChatGPT for business?
They're both good. Claude tends to be stronger for writing, longer documents and working with your files, and its Projects and connectors make it really useful for business work. We'll be honest about what fits you.
What are Claude Projects and connectors?
Projects let Claude remember your business context, files and instructions, so you're not starting from scratch every chat. Connectors link Claude to tools like Google Drive and Gmail so it can work with your real stuff. We set both up in your session.
Is it online or in person?
Both. Online works brilliantly for most people. If you're in or around Bristol, we can come to you.
What if I'm not techy?
That's exactly who this is for. If you can use email, you can do this.
