Who we are

What you’re buying

Access to an online course: its videos, lesson notes, downloadable files, and the questions board under each lesson. You watch it through your account on this website. The course page describes what’s in each course.

“Lifetime access” means for as long as we offer the course online. If we ever stop offering a course, we’ll email you at least 30 days beforehand so you can finish it and download the files.

Price and payment

Prices are in pounds and include VAT where it applies. You pay once, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, through Stripe. There’s no subscription and nothing renews.

Instant access, cancelling and refunds

Buying online normally gives you 14 days to change your mind. For digital content like our courses, that right ends once your access starts, provided you’ve agreed to that. You agree to it at checkout by ticking the box that asks for instant access and confirms you understand you lose the right to cancel.

Your access starts as soon as your payment goes through, and you get the whole course at once. So once you’ve paid, we don’t give refunds if you change your mind.

This doesn’t affect your legal rights if something is wrong with the course. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content has to be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If it isn’t (say a video won’t play or a lesson is missing), tell us and we’ll fix or replace it. If we can’t, you may be entitled to some or all of your money back.

Your account

Your account is for one person. Please don’t share your login. If you’re buying for colleagues, each person needs their own place, so email us about team access. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

Using the course materials

We own the courses: the videos, notes, worksheets and templates. Buying a course gives you a personal licence to use them for your own learning and in your own work or business. You can’t copy, record, share, upload, resell or teach from the videos or materials, or pass your downloads on to people who haven’t bought the course.

The questions board

Ask away. We answer as quickly as we can, usually within two working days. Other students on the course see your first name and your question. Please keep it relevant and kind: we’ll remove anything abusive, spammy or off-topic.

Changes to courses

We keep courses up to date, so we may add, rework or replace lessons over time. Updates are included at no extra cost. We won’t take away the core of what a course page promised when you bought it.

Our responsibility to you

Courses teach general approaches. They aren’t tailored professional, legal or financial advice for your business, and how you use what you learn is up to you. We’re not responsible for business losses that come from applying it. Nothing in these terms limits anything we can’t limit by law, including your statutory rights.

If we need to end your access

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing logins or redistributing course materials. We’ll tell you why first unless it’s serious or ongoing.

The legal bit

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. How we handle your data is in our privacy policy. If we change these terms, the version you agreed to when you bought applies to that purchase.
